Next Location: westbound eastbound
We walked for a couple of miles east and west at the latitude on which the border sits without finding a surveyor’s monument. The border lacked a fence, as well. Wedding Cake Ranch, which lent its name to the USGS quadrangle that provided navigation, is named for a circular butte with a conical top.
